About Our Ministries  

Apostle Dr. Mark L. Spell, Sr., founded the Disciples of Christ Deliverance Ministries, Inc., in June 1997.  The sole purpose of the Disciples of Christ Deliverance Ministries, Inc., is to teach, reach and disciple people of various racial and ethnic backgrounds; to demonstrate love and compassion in the community; and to be an example and support system to our fellow laborers in the Gospel.

We are compelled to follow after the teachings of Jesus Christ, which make us accountable to our fellowmen.  We realize that the standard of Christ is high, however is attainable.  Our services are rendered and structured with the total family in mind.  The mission and theme of Disciples of Christ Deliverance Ministries, Inc. is "Changing Lives Through Teaching & Prayer".

We acknowledge that life in the Spirit results not only in the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23), but also in repentance and obedience to Christ, prayer in communication with God, forgiveness, love, being witnesses, assembling with other believers to worship and study God's Word.

As we grow into the things of God we rely on the direction of the Holy Ghost.  Through the instructions of our leaders, we are being taught to go out and reach the lost, encourage the down trodden, and declare the Word of God through love.  We are being taught to truly be a disciple of Christ.
